Champions

Champion. A title that many aspire to, though few receive. Only a few of the various faiths that exist upon Layonara award this title, and it happens so rarely that many a myth has arisen regarding the nature of a Champion. The title of 'Champion' is one awarded by the church for various deeds and achievements that no other could do. From the twisted anarchy spread by an Unholy Champion of Pyrtechon to the noble selflessness of a Champion of Toran, Champions embody the dogma of their chosen deity. There is only ever one case of a deity having direct influence over a Champion, the Inanis Viscus of Corath, a title too dark for many to even comprehend. Though names and beliefs may differ, all Champions share a unity in their goal to see the dogma of their deity upheld and respected.
