Icefall Tower

Icefall Tower is located within the Icefall Forest, in a clearing on the forest's western reaches. Before the Cataclysm, it stood as a high tower, built of gray stone by the will of an ancient wizard. Now the tower lies in ruins, a mere memory of its former self. The surrounding shapes and mounds that were once houses, halls, and storerooms are now infested with walking dead. No one knows the name of the one who commissioned it. Nonetheless, one thing is certain: after the Cataclysm shook the island of Bastil away from the warmer regions, nothing living has resided there.

Old stories tell of riches and items of power in the underground vaults, guarded by the tower's now unliving former inhabitants as well as its former master. Whatever the truth, all those that have gone there agree that there are unliving beings descending the broken stairs at the base of the mound of rocks that used to be the tower, and also that it would be wise to steer clear of this place.
