A once thriving port and fishing town, Yarali is situated close to the white cliffs of the Kumayan Copse. There is a small island not far from the beach of Yarali called Sleeper's Isle. The isle has for many years been the private graveyard of the people of the village. Only villagers who lived and died in Yarali are allowed a burial spot on this island. The many seagulls that flock and nest about the isle are affectionately believed to be the souls of the departed, returning on occasion for one more breath of life.
