The members of Liwich's Guard are a talented mishmash of pirates, thieves, and brutes. Despite a lack of military discipline and a propensity toward strongly independent personalities, Angelica's clever leadership and Ustrurik's terrifying presence keep her 1,506 guardsmen (mostly) in order.
