Wizard's Wheat Ale: Difference between revisions

<span class="DROPCAP">T</span>his more common ale has the typical taste of a fine wheat ale but with much less potency than your average brew. Once simply called &quot;Wheat Ale,&quot; this particular variety of wheat ale began to be known over time as, &quot;Wizard's Wheat Ale&quot; as it was noticed that [[lore/wizards|wizards]] would frequently request this drink and carry it with them on long journeys. This bitter golden liquid although flavorful, has a low enough alcohol content that even wizards could handle large quantities of it without forgetting their spells. Perhaps it is the quick processing of this beverage that leads to its low alcohol, or maybe it is the [[lore/cure-light-wounds|cure light wounds]] potion thrown in the mix. Either way, this drink has little effect on most and to a [[lore/dwarf|dwarf]], has no more effect than pure water.
