It takes d4+1 hours to gather this information and up to 150 gold/DC, at the end of that time the GM will have you roll to see if you learn any information about a given topic. Generally only current events are known, but GM's can make known whatever information they desire this way. The DC will be kept secret and the GM will compare your roll vs the DC they set, if you succede he will tell you what you wanted to know. If you fail, information will still be given, but it may be not quite right. Check: The DC is determined by the type of information being requested, the more common the information the lower the DC.
