The pass separates the Backbone Mountains and the [[Viper's Teeth]]. At one point [[Prantz]] protected the pass with intense vigilance. Deadman's Pass is the place that the "True Line," that started with Raklin Loenar as first Emperor in Prantz, ended. The fifth ruler in that family line was slain by a guard that protected him in this pass, and to this day you can still see his grave.
