Zinzunzan: History and Rumors

The clearing on which Zinzunzan was initially started was a barren piece of land. For some reason, it was totally devoid of plant life. The pygmies took this as a sign from their ancestral spirits that this place was meant for them and constructed their first mud and bamboo houses around it. Up to this day, the center of the town is barren and used to bury the dead.
