The city has no walls, trenches, or other structures used in the defense of towns. However, situated in the middle of the jungle as it is, it is in fact very well defended. The pygmies have guards and scouts throughout the jungle and know if someone is trespassing or sets foot on the island. Word of trespassers is relayed to the capital by eviala, a small red bird the pygmies use the way other people use carrier pigeons.
