The brownie clans each have a doto (male) and a moto (female), who are the clan, tribe, or group leaders. It is from these dotos and motos each year that a single wookoo is elected to keep peace on Girrac that year. Being selected wookoo gives great honor to the clan. There are a large number of clans, groups and tribes of brownies.
