Bitter Valley is actually a large series of low dun-colored hills with a defined central low point from which the region takes its name. Centuries of salty mist sprays from the Lazy River's dive into the southern ocean have washed across this area of the island. Sparse, scraggly vegetation and stunted trees cling to these hills, struggling to thrive.
