The Craft Armor skill does not, in Layonara, affect the PC's ability to construct armor and shields. Armor and shields are created using Layonara's Crafting System.
For the time being, Craft Armor allows a PC to have a greater chance of success when customizing (changing the appearance of) their armour or shields. This may not always be the case (in which case, any skill points spent on this skill will be effectively wasted).
Spending points in this skill is a matter of personal preference, but is not generally recommended.
