Mistone has an extensive, well maintained road system that enables quicker travel across the continent. The roads, however, do not reach into the swamps, fens, and marshes that dot the continent. Passage through swamps has a two-fold danger: the mud and standing water considerably slow movement, and dangerous predators often lurk in the waters and amongst the vegitation to ambush struggling travelers.

Notes:

  • While using the roads, a character benefits from a speed increase similar to the effects of Expeditious Retreat.
  • While in the waters of the swamps, a character suffers a decrease in movement speed, though not in attack speed.
  • The road sytem is unique to Mistone.
