The summoning abilities of all types of casters are affected by alignment, class or deity. Clerics can summon creatures based on their deity. Other arcane casters summon allies based upon their alignment. Druids and Rangers call their allies from nature, their allies are not affected by deity or alignment. Devout arcane casters may align their conjurations with their deity through a strenuous ritual involving the burning of incense in a Censer of Arcane Devotion.
