The Black Fang Shield is now only spoken of rarely, if it even is. Only scholars with an interest in pre-cataclysmic weaponry may even know of it.
They know it as a shield depicting a very vivid picture of a black cobra, poised to strike. Rumor has it that, if bore by the appropriate bearer, this black cobra would lash out from the shield to poison the bearer's assailants, making it both a shield as well as a weapon.
