Aryte Forest: History and Rumors

This temperate forest is well known to the satyrs for its spectacular seasonal beauty; in autumn, the leaves of the trees turn brilliant shades of red, orange, and gold. The shortening days of this time of year stimulate many of the trees to lose their leaves. As such, the brief but beautiful display of autumn colors ends when the leaves are shed completely and plants enter an extended period of dormancy. Many of these occasions have been responsible for some beautiful pieces of artwork amongst the satyrs.

The forest itself is tended by a number of treants. It is alive with all sorts of animal life, ranging from the very large, like the huge black bears that are often seen wandering the forest, to the very small.
