Fire Mountain: History and Rumors

This cave system is the home of Fisterion the Red, King of Dragons. Some of the kingdom's denizens have spoken out to confirm this fact, but it is still sometimes doubted and subject to the scrutiny of many non-scholars. One thing is certain: those who travel in rarely travel out again.

One of the few adventurers who did travel into Fire Mountain and come back out is the dwarven mage Brac'ar Fireface Kilring. Supposedly, he outwitted Fisterion in a bargain involving a powerful tome of magic, a draconic taint in Brac'ar's blood, and some unknown ruins on Belinara and the Pits of Endless Strife. Further specifics on this are not known.
