Forest of Love: History and Rumors

The Forest of Love has become a more sacred place for the satyr women. It is here that all female satyrs come to perform a ceremony when they come of age, to receive the blessings of nature. It is said that the ceremony awakens the feminine within the satyr woman and brings her into full flower. As they get older, it is not uncommon for satyr females to seek solace here and make an offering to nature in order to seek guidance or a sign of blessing for a certain relationship. The offering usually entails a garland of wildflowers or a carved musical instrument or other such items the satyrs hold in high regard.

The satyrs are very protective of the Forest of Love and its edges are often patrolled by well armed satyrs. Male satyrs treat the forest with great reverence and it is rare that they would step within its confines.
