The Reptile Woods is a twisted and deformed forest of large cypress trees whose ancient gnarled roots criss cross the forest floor, providing a vast expanse of twisted terrain. With its warm, humid air and damp soil, the forest is a veritable miasma of insect and reptilian life. It also contains many hazards for the unwary traveler; pockets of dark thick mud can trap the unwary, and spiderwebs ranging from small to massive in size can be glimpsed amidst the upper branches of the trees, warning of another danger of the region.
