Similar to the rest of the islands within the chain, Veapra is surrounded by medium to high cliffs. Unlike the other islands, there are more areas of beach visible from out at sea. What can be seen of the island is that it is almost entirely comprised of a vast stretch of grassland. The only areas of the island that are not grasslands are a tall forest of temperate ash trees in the southeast, another forest of ancient oak in the northwest, and a twisted mass of cypress trees near the center of the island. The southern area of the forest is interspersed with great willow trees that seem to guard the River of Depth that flows through the forest's southern boundary. The center of the island has a series of warm springs beneath it which provides a unique characteristic to the island itself. The forest above this area is more tropical in both vegetation and climate, and the air has a high moisture content. The cypress trees are often covered in moss and thick vines and are surrounded by many species of ferns and orchids.
