A giant hand appears and attacks the target. If it hits and succeeds with an opposed strength check, the target is held fast for the duration of the spell and suffers 2d6+12 points of damage each round. The hand is treated as if it has a strength of 51 (+20 to strength check) for purposes of the opposed strength check. Creatures that are immune to paralysis will be immobilized by this spell, though they can still take actions and will still take damage if they do not succeed on their opposed strength checks.
