A giant hand appears and attacks the target. If the hand hits and succeeds in an opposed strength check the opponent will be held. The hand has a strength of 39 (+14 to strength check.) Creatures immune to paralysis may not be held by this spell. The check is performed each round for the duration of the spell. Successfully avoiding the grapple will negate the paralysis for that round only.
