Cel: Defenses

The city had no outer wall; therefore, elven and dwarven engineers have been working on building a rudimentary palisade and moat. These structures will not only surround the city but also drain the excess water from the soil to dry the land on which the city is built.

Humans and elves form most of the city's guard, which numbers in the thousands. They not only keep the peace but also serve as the main backbone of the shire's troops as pikemen and archers.
