Denshou: Government and Politics

While Sitchu Gavin MacMurry is technically answerable to the mido, so is the techu and the residents of Denshou are more inclined to take their orders from Andrew than the prickly Gavin. Tensions between the two men are high and although techu Navashou does not tell the sitchu how to run the city, clearly Gavin feels that he does.

Currently Sitchu Mac Murry is responsible for supplies, protection of the marketplace, and the concerns of the citizens, and Techu Navashou runs the navy and oversees the building of the ships although Vergin "Slats" Broden is actually in charge on a day-to-day basis. However, most people who can solicit Andrew's opinion and assistance do so, leaving Gavin out in the cold.
