Fey Forest: History and Rumors

The forest is unique in that the variety of trees within it could not truly exist together anywhere else in the world without significant care and possibly magical aid. While the forest is alive with all sorts of creatures, there are places in the forest that have become deeper and darker than the bulk of it. There are places within the forest that even the animals do not tread, but other darker creatures do.

An old race of treants still abide in the forest and do their best to protect its sanctity. The deeper people delve under the thick canopy, the more dangerous and ancient the treants they encounter become.

Anyone walking beneath the thick canopy of leaves that the trees provide will feel almost instantaneously drawn back in time thousands of years. The forest is alive in manya multitude of ways and many of the creatures who dwell here treat it with great reverence.
