Fort Dragonsong: Government and Politics

The Dragonsong capital is where the throne is and the town must symbolize it properly. An elected council chooses, from among their ranks, the mayor that runs the city according to the wishes of the dominus, which are to preserve order and keep the town in good shape.

Disputes are resolved through the standard practice in Dragonsong. A judge hears both sides, consults with peers, and declares who is right. If the parties wish to appeal the decision, they must present facts that might sway the judge; in which case, he will refer the parties to a higher official if he believes he is not able to reach an impartial decision.
