Hommel's Meditation

Patrick Hommel's gift to his daughter was to teach her what he understood of his innate gift to tap into that which affects the heart. He used his gift to mediate behind the scenes and peaceably resolve differences, and inspire peace between farmer and noble a like. Patrick had most of his adult life to study and attempt to understand his ability, and what he learned he tried to teach to his daughter through is Magnum Opus, 80 parchment pages of composition. While she will likely learn more about this ability in small pieces for the rest of her life, she has acquired the basic knowledge of it to teach herself as she explores it's limitations. As such Katrien is able to tap into the Heartsong in such a way to 'nudge' the feelings of those around her. In quest situations this will be useful in negotiations especially, where parties may not see eye to eye.
