Designed for a crew of two hundred humans, these ships usually have three decks and three to five masts. Most commonly sport a lateen sail on the third mast. The hull is elongated and the fore and aft are squared. Along with a square tuck stern, these features give the Naojins an unprecedented level of stability in the water. The cost of this stability, naturally, is their speed; These are not as swift as other ships, but they are extremely maneuverable.

The Rohden Alliance's understanding of the rigors of the sea has led to the creation of an advanced rigging system that allows a vessel to be sailed by a smaller number of crew when compared to other ships of comparable size Naojin are built for one purpose: battles at sea. With platforms for up to fifty ballista, catapults, miniature trebuchets, small onagers or heavy spear launchers, these ships are formidable and deadly opponents.
