Rhugal's Realm: Notable People

Krail Rhugal - Known now as Urra'Krail, Krail resides in Thoraz. He is not Po'anw ug Nurga, nor does it seem his path will lead that way; Krail is very solitary, gruff, and outspoken. A keen eye might notice how the responsibilities of his rule weigh him down, and how the weight of his rule manifests as physical symptoms. His shoulders have begun to bow with the weight, and his eyes are always blackened around the sockets and either puffy with lack of sleep or sunken with weariness depending on the day. Haggard even by dwarven standards, Krail's dark auburn locks run unchecked and untended. His beard of flaming red is the one portion of his presence that is maintained, beaded, and well groomed. Krail seems short for a dwarf--likely, he would stand taller were it not for his stooped posture and the troubles of his kingdom. Whatever his appearance, Krail's drive and speaking voice bring in his people in droves. His speeches, though few, are written by Krail himself and always bring those listening to their feet in a fervor of faith and hope. His long and illustrious military career is a matter of public knowledge, since his every deed was followed by his people, as were his father's. Krail posesses a sharp mind and is always praised for his tactics and forethought. Some time after the passing of his father, his tactics drastically changed. It is uncertain what precipitated the change or what the reasoning behind this shift was. It is hard to separate rumor and supposition from truth when it comes to this private individual.

Grellian Troff -With his dwelling located smack in the middle of the Firesteep Mountains, Grellian is a never-ending source of mystery. Holed up in his home, Grellian seems to like his privacy, and his proximity to the mines keeps him adequately busy. Many an adventurer has sought him out in the past for advice on everything from great and creative crafting to information on the mighty Fisterion. Grellian has long been a familiar feature of the island. Always straight forward, except about his purpose within the Firesteep Mountains, Grellian is known to most to have an even-tempered personality. Reputedly hailing from Metal, this dwarf is devoted to Dorand and perhaps more than that. He has yet to reveal his true purpose on the island.
