With all the wars and creatures that have ravaged Belinara, the shipping industry on that continent is still behind when compared to the rest of the world. Only one merchant class vessel is currently built in Belinara: the Sea Devil.

These vessels are quite large, with a high mainmast and a huge, cumbersome sail. The hull is deep and round, which enables them to carry large loads but also causes them to wallow in heavy seas. Although the design is considered antiquated by current day shipwrights of Tilmar and Corsain, it still remains a solid and useful vessel.

There is space in its high fore and stern castle to mount five ranged weapons. Most of these vessels seize the opportunity and have weapons mounted wherever possible to fend off any who might be interested in their cargo.
