This recipe was traced back to its maker who lived on [[Dregar]]. He would mix just the right amount of blackberries with almonds. The fellow owned a black stallion, which he rode to [[Prantz]] making ale deliveries to the [[Hotel Layonara]]. In time his horse became known around [[Dregar]] and the drink was named after it. A good thing too as the man's name was Phillibuster McGillicutty and that didn't seem to roll off the tongue as well as Black Horse Ale. | |||
