Succession Kingdom: Military

Each liegess has a volunteer guard, and they answer to the kingdom in times of need. Along with the liege lord's military stationed around Boulder, the numbers vary from 3,000 to 5,000 soldiers total. Liege Lord Roland currently is allowing training by guests from the Kingdom of Rael in the wake of the drawn-out sickness and death of his chosen lieutenant, Lord Abrams Millington. He has taken a more active role since then but has not replaced the lieutenant as yet.

There have long been rumors of another army, one that cannot walk in the light of day, but most folks dismiss this as stories spread to scare potential hostiles or based on the unusual number of unliving that seem to come from around the Sinister Forest area.
