Taur'en Kingdom: Military

The king's militia is a small, but effective force of well trained humans. The ranks are filled out with conscripts and mercenaries from other places as well as farm boys and wanders. The military is a weak one by Alindorian standards. When bolstered by Milara's forces it was formidable but fell flat when his support was withdrawn.

The dwarven might is not a force to be taken lightly and if it could be combined with that of the crown, Taur'en would indeed have the military might of her neighbors. As the purge of warriors from the clans over 250 years ago at the Plains of the Slain has been gradually rebuilt. However, without an exact census, there is no way of knowing just how big this dwarven army is, but some estimates place it in excess of ten thousand well trained warriors.
