Antony Vipsanius

Antony is the mayor of Western Gate and steward of the Western Prefecture, which is the region that contains Western Gate and the extreme western lands of the Dominion. He is a devout Rofireinite, and his previous career as a scholar has helped him create great stability in the prefecture.

His detailed plans for the rebuilding have been very successful. Though his actions seek long-term stability and order, his decisions are greatly lauded by the upper classes as they anticipate mass migrations toward larger settlements and are offering arable land, subsidies, and credit to those that seek to make an honest living. To strengthen those that opt to an urban living, he started some public works (walls, roads, aqueducts, and sewers) that not only offer jobs to those that live in the city but will provide better infrastructure to the region, allowing further expansion
