The land around Hiso is just as fertile as that which lies on the mesa: lush green, hilly plains, and scattered clumps of trees. A well-traveled road leads northwestward then splits into three directions, to Bilkan Castle, Creedo, and the rim of Skyline Lake via a dirt track that leads across the mesa.
