• Location: Hiso sits at the southern end of the fertile mesa plains, which stretch from the mountains to the Woods of Tranquility.

The land around Hiso is just as fertile as that which lies on the mesa: lush green, hilly plains, and scattered clumps of trees. A well-traveled road leads northwestward then splits into three directions, to Bilkan Castle, Creedo, and the rim of Skyline Lake via a dirt track that leads across the mesa.
