The Sitchu of Valianto is more a merchant lord than a mayor. Dimasu Shim'kai is a recent appointment, a Huangjin native, and some of the residents don't like the way he runs things; certainly he has padded his own pocket more than once. He takes no council, which angers some of the families who returned to rebuild their taun only to have no say in how its run. Still, he is the representative of the mido and the citizens obey his word. After all, trade is good and there is plenty of True for everyone... for now.
