Fort Dragonsong: History and Rumors

Built over four centuries ago by human and dwarven hands, the old fort and the town under it were almost completely destroyed by Bloodstone's troops. After the retaking and it being named the new capital, the population flocked from all around to help rebuild and populate it. Its streets now boast the finest inns and taverns in the Dominion and tales of all corners of the world are told there.
 
In the past, never more than a thousand people lived within its walls; however, with the great influx of people, engineers have now made plans for it to hold at least 10 times that amount with an efficient sewer and water system, large residential buildings, and great centers of commerce spread throughout the town. This will decentralize traffic and keep the four great gates flowing with people. During an average day, the city of 27,000 deals in all sorts of trades and dealings with the nearby lands and kingdoms for not even political disputes are enough to stop the flow of coin through the land.
