Kithairien: Sects

As with all religions of the world, there are always splinters of faith that do not practice as the rest. However, in the case of Kithairien, all of his tribes are splinter sects. Each has many of their own traditions, their own customs, and each holds certain aspects above other aspects. No particular sect is held more in favor than any other, at least as far as the tribes will admit. Rarely is there conflict over these issues when the tribes themselves meet. Each tribe respects the other for its uniqueness and independence.

There are two tribes that treasure one portion of the dogma far over the others: "Let no bond of mortal making hold you back, rebel against those who seek to bind you." These defiers of the laws often go out of their way to strike out at those who would restrict them. One of these tribes is on Mistone and the other is on Belinara. Each small sect of these intense warriors strikes out indiscriminately at those who move in to their paths and territories. Their chief complaint being that where men come, so too come laws and restrictions. Therefore, they seek to stop the ways of man as much as stop their expansion. In truth, these two tribes have been blamed for the deaths of many humans who have sought to carve out a piece of the wild places to make their own. It is due to this that relations between wild elves and humans are tumultuous in a few areas of Mistone and Belinara. Oddly, it is also this part of the Falcon's following that has the highest non-elf population.
