Lake Dragonsong: History and Rumors

Tales of mystical origins surround this lake just as they surround its sister lake, the Lake of Dreams in Driran. Its waters bubble from the ground underneath, and no matter how much is drawn away to irrigate fields and tend to the population, the level of the water never drops'even during droughts. Another feature of the lake is that Fort Dragonsong's sewer leads directly into it yet the water remains as fresh and potable as if it was freshly drawn from a well.

Study has gone into this strange phenomenon and no conclusion has been reached; still, what is known is that the lake once formed part of a pre-cataclysmic river complex that used to cut through the land when Corsain, Tilmar, and Alibor were still one landmass attached to Alindor.
