In his 40's, this rotund, dandified mage has spent two-thirds of his life creating spells. Born the son of a rat catcher, he never thought he'd be able to read a word until his innate abilities with the Al'Noth drove him from the filthy streets of Fort Vehl, rocks at his back. He hitched a ride on a caravan to Spellgard and volunteered to catch rats at the temple of Lucinda while reconstruction was going on, and he never looked back.

He caught the eye of the Docet when he was found to be using several unique combinations of fire and ice magic to destroy rodents and make them easier to clean up. His time in the Presage was only as long as it took to learn his letters. His rise to Scrollregent was meteoric. Since then, he has learned to further manipulate the Al'Noth, adding illusions to augment his more element-based powers, has discovered (and pursued every single nuance of) fine cooking, and has become fond of huge, billowy, almost bizarre sleeves on his midnight-blue tunics.
