The dwarven community has a strong military, almost 1,000 dwarven warriors devoted to Vorax. They have been adding war machines and fortifications steadily for the last few centuries to the fortress and have so far withstood every dark elf attack. Why the dark elves are driven to keep trying to take the stronghold is unknown.

The Stonefist clan has begun to build some fortifications in their caves, and have reportedly been acquiring sturdy weapons and armor when it can be made to their size. Reports of huge forges are also trickling out of the area.

The renegade giants are recovering from a low point and have nothing more than wandering groups, clubs, and the occasional sword and axe. The military leader of the wandering groups is called the Maul and gives what direction there is regarding attacks on villages and settlements around the Brechs.

The full strength of the orcs is hard to gauge but estimates of 500 or more axe-wielding Grand followers have straggled out on the lips of the few who survived that close a look.
