Unholy Champion of Corath

Unholy Champions of Corath are perhaps the most varied of all the Champions, taking many different forms. Such is the way of the Deceiver. The most infamous is the Inanis Viscus, a single individual who is considered the epitome of evil within the Os Inasnum. Their orders are said to come straight from the Mortis Mentis himself, and their whims are outside the rulings of the church. They are nothing short of a mortal fiend, serving Corath as martial extension of the Bone Lord's will. The history of this being is a complete mystery. The rituals designed to shape the mind of the chosen Champion are said to be so horrific, so rife with torture, so cunningly designed, and so lengthy that the chosen being forgets their own name and life previous to being called. From the moment they plunge their head into the acid blood that forever etches their face into a grotesque mask of pain, they are known only as the Inanis Viscus, or Empty Heart, and are then an entity unto themselves. The Inanis Viscus is not the sole entity to bare the name of Champion within the Church of Corath however. Raven Champions, Morsus Champions, Furax Champions and even Sancti Champions are not unheard of. Each is the embodiment of their sect/chapter, from the cunning and stealth employed by a Furax Champion to the brutal violence of a Morsus Champion. Though each may employ their own methods, they all posses similar traits. Corrupting, cruel, merciless, vindictive and vicious, the list goes on.

Twisted reflections of the Champions of Toran, the Epic Unholy Champion of Corath is a remorseless killer. Inspiring fear rather than loyalty from their followers, they represent the bane of humanity, and stand against all that is good in the world.

• Hit Die: d10
• Skill Points: 2 + Intelligence Modifier
• Bonus Feats: The Epic Unholy Champion gains a bonus feat every three levels
• Special:
  • Sneak attack increases by +1d6 every three levels after 10th
  • Summon Fiend: For every five unholy champion levels above 10th the summoned fiend gains +2 bonus Hit Dice, its natural armor increases by +2, and its Strength and Intelligence each increase by +1
