Jaanthan told me not to stare as we walked through town. It seems very large to me, although Granny later said that it was tiny in comparison to the grand cities of her home. The smell of fish was everywhere, and I could not get it out of my clothes for days! It seems hard to believe I will be the Countess of these simple folk in only a week. His Lordship Kharatat is quite lovely to look at for his age. I believe I like him. I've caught myself thinking that in this family it is a luxury to enjoy the person you marry.

-Notes from the diary of Liege Heir Josetta Lef'Chamet, future Countess of Dhovisha, dated 8 Decilar 1219

While the warm southern breezes and blazing sun appeals to some, there are those that crave a less slow-roasted lifestyle. Seacove was founded in the year 600 by a small group of fishermen and a few farmers, mostly from one extended family, who decided to move north in search of a less punishing climate. They traveled up the western coast, finally chancing on a small inlet of water with an unusual light blue color, said to be the reflection of the blue-tinted seashells mixed into the sand along the bottom. Here the clan built huts and fishing boats, raised families, and slowly expanded. When the land they'd been living on was declared Dhovisha, they made a point to ignore it until a treaty was made favoring the town.

Seacove avoided most of the ugliness with Bloodstone's forces, and as they are fishermen, they are also often ignored by the pirates who focus on more lucrative and less strong-smelling prey when hunting. As such, the town has grown to a small city gracefully, keeping its character and simply adding another street in even rows when needed. There are four docks off the beaches with inlet storage for boats too irreplaceable to risk to storms. The town also has a small farming community to the east, focusing on corn, potatoes, tomatoes, and cabbage.

The farm shrine to Prunilla has been used for storage lately. Though, it does not affect Prunilla's presence in Seacove, because the farmers generally hold small worship services on the land itself. Mist's shrine was a simple gazebo near the water and has been torn down by a contingent of Prantz guards. Again, this does not much affect adulations to the Lady of Storms as she is more often prayed to from a ship's deck. The shrine to Shindaleria has not been found; although, it is known that some of the townsfolk pay homage to Mother Ocean.
