Denshou faired better than most of the island during the destructive wave of Bloodstone's fiendish army. Although the city was ransacked and burned, the piers (empty at the time of the attack) were left alone. One eyewitness hiding in a destroyed building said later that the army leaders decided it would take too much time and to just leave them because "ain't gonna be anyone alive ta use 'em"?.
