Enka

Enka is located just far enough from the bay to have good soil, just close enough to catch the salty breezes blowing off the placid waters. This small farming community has used nature magic, arcane magic, and some healing magic to condition the land for planting, and carefully laid out fields surround the taun center in a one statute mile radius. Oaks and plantain trees act as windbreaks and to separate the fields.
Pigs and chickens are kept in sturdy pens, and there are a dozen or so oxen to pull carts but not much else in the way of animals except the rats that seem to be rejoicing every day at the sudden lack of natural predators. Corn, blueberries, carrots, cabbage, tomatoes and salt-rice are the main crops; the salt-rice fields are irrigated with water diverted from the bay.
The taun has one main road that splits to either Denshou, or Gi and the border with Bilkan.
